Daniel Govaer

Daniel Govaer’s auto industry journey kicked off in 2004, right after wrapping up military service. He cut his teeth in sales, but it didn’t take long before he was steering teams and shaping strategy—especially within the Mercedes-Benz world. Across his career, he’s racked up serious cred: 7 Mercedes-Benz Best of the Best awards, including 3 personal Best of the Best Manager wins. Safe to say—Daniel doesn’t just aim for excellence, he engineers it.


At Mercedes-Benz of Easton, he flipped the script. Not only did the store become one of the top 10 Maybach dealers in the country, it also built a culture that was straight-up award-worthy. In a little over five years, Daniel and his team generated nearly double the net profit of the dealership’s previous ten years—combined. That’s not just growth. That’s transformation.


Today, Daniel is still doing what he does best—but now on a broader stage. As a fractional COO, he parachutes into organizations to drive operational clarity, turn chaos into systems, and help leadership teams unlock the next level. He’s known for turning underperforming stores into industry standouts and building teams that stick around for the long haul.


He’s also got the receipts: NADA Academy, NCM, SHRM—Daniel’s been sharpening his tools for years. And when he’s not rebuilding operations or mentoring leaders, he’s giving back in a big way. He’s raised over a million dollars across St. Baldrick’s Foundation, Make-A-Wish, and the USO, where he also serves on the board.
